My Heads ‘A Spinnin’

Hey guys! I feel like I have been learning so much here lately my head can't possibly contain it all!
So I ventured I to another program y'all. Trying to learn all I need to. You can never learn too much right? This is with Nancy Badillo. She's an awesome teacher. There are plenty of things that I knew and gained from the last content I studied but I still find myself learning more with my new lessons.
With both programs I have learned how important it is to use Pinterest amongst posting to other social media accounts to get yourself seen. I have noticed a few of my views and visits have come from Pinterest. I also see a lot of my audience comes from Twitter. My question becomes though, when you post to these accounts, are these where the serious shoppers are? Traffic comes from them but I don't see an income stream coming from them though. Once I did get a sale from Twitter but that was about 6 mos ago. So how serious is it receive traffic from places like that? And does it tell Etsy anything? Like...this was looked at so this needs to be moved closer to page 1? 🤔 That’s something I’ll have to ask the Facebook group.
Today I turned on Off-site ads with Etsy. This allows your listings to be seen by Google, Pinterest, Bing and other search engines and gaining Etsy traffic. I'm a little scared of the cost that may come from this. I just don't want to keep losing money on ads. I remember having the settings on for it when I first started out with Etsy but was spooked when someone said to be careful with it. So I made the choice to turn it off. However, I recently learned something, about Off-site ads. Etsy pays them upfront and when you do make a sale using them there's a 15% fee that they take out. Initially when I started I may have known this fact but the fear of any ad usage gave me the willies. But 15% doesn’t seem so bad as I have matured into this. 🤔 I can live with that fee. Making something is better than making a big fat goose egg right? At least starting out it does until your listing matures and gains traffic. I'll keep you posted on that.
If you guys have any questions about any of this let me know. Or if an expert out there has any knowledge to drop please let me know. My goal is about running out of time. Oh sorry, that's my patience that’s running out of time. My goal is endless. It will continue as long as I allow it to keep chugging along. And my towel is not being thrown in yet. I've still more to learn and to test out. There will be a light at the end of this tunnel. And when I get there, the light will be so fulfilling and infinite. ☀️
Catch you all later. I'm in the middle of finishing off creating my summer seamless patterns. Me being me, I don't like something so I'm going to change it and create something else. Do you ever do that? I feel like all I have to do is tweak one more thing...then 5 hours later I hate what I created and have a plan for something else totally new. Ha! 😅 Yep, that's me. All day.

Got a glowing review from an awesome customer!
Learning new positive things from Nancy Badillo.
Gaining more eyeballs on my Pinterest account.

Bummer Negatives:
I decided to turn on Etsy Ads (not Off-site ads) and have eaten up my 2 bucks profit previously mentioned.
I'm not creating listings fast enough for my liking. I have so many new ideas I can't keep up.
I'm not being seen by buyers. I'm not sure if it's my pricing, the quality of my work or people are wanting something else.
