Learning and Creating

Howdy howdy! Hey gang. Today's pretty much just me and my tablet creating. So I thought today, instead of you reading about my hopes and dreams......and failures, like normal I’ll share about what I'm working on at the moment. I'm currently on a summer theme kick. It's clip art with flip flops, a rainbow, a boat, a crab and some other little fun beachy illustrations. I decided to put them all together as individual images and as a seamless pattern!

That's my other cool news. I created a seamless pattern y'all! Isn't YouTube wonderful?? I had created a pattern before in the past but didn't really know how they worked. So as I was on my elliptical (gotta get that cardio in!) I saw a suggested video of how to create patterns on Procreate. So I decided to click it. Anything at this point to help me on my search to be a thousandaire right? (I’m inhaling all the learning I can get!) And I watched thee videos and tried it out and was so excited at how easy it was. Well I had some trial and error in the be but I figured it out after the 2nd try I was ready! Now I can’t stop creating them. Ha!

I didn't know what to use but I grabbed some of my images from one of my latest listings, the Summer Fun Calendar and thought the first one came out so cute I worked on another. But then I thought what if someone wanted the images individually?! That's the catch with this game. You don't know what the people want. And everyone says get a mailing list and you can find out from your those subscribers. Oh okay. I'll get right on that. Oh wait...no on will sign up! Nope...I'm heading into the negative head space again. My mailing list will come. My subscribers will come. Field of dreams thinking right? Right! So anywho, I'm super excited about the new idea. Patterns seem to be pretty hot on Etsy. Hopefully it'll get some likes and more. But I'm always excited about creating. Sketching...putting it on the tablet and bringing it to life! That's definitely the fun part. It delights me. I could sketch and draw every day. My boyfriend doesn’t get it. I'm constantly on my tablet creating. But he loves me anyway. Well lemme go. I gotta get this set finished up.
